Experienced Dog Handler/Receptionist

Wacky Wags in Chico is seeking a part time EXPIRENCED dog handler/receptionist. The successful candidate will not only possess excellent dog handling, and office skills, but will also enjoy being part of an active team with 100% customer satisfaction as the standard. A great place to work!

The Dog Handler/Receptionist is responsible for the supervision, control and management of daycare & boarding dogs, and ensuring the safety of the playgroup. The Dog Handler/Receptionist is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the playrooms as well as other areas of the facility as assigned. The Dog Handler/Receptionist will be responsible for dogs checking in/out, and scheduling appointments by phone or in person for Daycare, Boarding, Grooming and Training. Shifts include weekends, weekdays, as well as all holidays.

Must have the ability to self-manage, be on time, and prepared.
Must have reliable transportation to work.
Must be comfortable with all breeds, breed standards, sizes and temperaments.

Experienced Dog Groomer

Wacky Wags in Chico is seeking a part time experienced dog groomer. The successful candidate will not only possess excellent grooming skills, but will also enjoy being part of an active team with 100% customer satisfaction as the standard. We offer a full service grooming facility. Must provide own tools and have some clientele.

Candidates will on a day to day basis be responsible for:
• Grooming dogs in a professional atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service
• Maintain grooming area
• Must have some clientele while seeking to increase clientele Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills
• Has the ability to self-manage and be on time and prepared for each appointment
• Has reliable transportation to work
• Must be comfortable with all breeds, breed standards, sizes and temperaments
• Education & Experience: Must provide proof of certification and/or credentials, awards and/or photos of your work
• Strong references required
